This week in Oak class.....

Oak class have been learning to count to 5 and what quantity from 1-5 look like through tactile, sensory exploration. Learners were supported to join in with counting and make different amounts of play dough balls to match each quantity. 

 

This week in Juniper class.....

We have had a busy week in Juniper, exploring Maths skills in the SI room to create repeating patterns with 3D shapes. We also built tall towers, working together with peers on shared goal. 

We have been working on tripod grips to form letters we have been learning in Phonics. 

 

 

This week in Hazel class.....

The EYFS topic this half term is weather. We trialled RISE for a weather lesson last week. We created different weather sounds and feelings. For example, using rice on a drum to make a rain sound. The students were able to participate as much or a little as they wanted to.
