This week in Rowan class.....

Rowan class hugely enjoyed celebrating arts week this week!

We took part in some large communal sessions in the hall with performances by the UPG dance group, RockSteady and Drums for Fun. We also had our first timetabled magic carpet session, which was a great way for us to showcase our realisation, anticipation and initiation skills!

This week in Redwood class...

Redwood class had a wonderful time taking part in Arts Week, with lots of opportunities to explore, create and perform. Throughout the week, we experimented with paint in a variety of exciting ways, using our hand skills to make marks, create patterns and express ourselves creatively.

We also enjoyed rocking out with a live band and joining our friends from Maple class for an engaging Under the Sea music and movement session. The week was rounded off with a lively and interactive Drums for Fun workshop, where everyone had the chance to explore rhythm, sound and participation.

Arts Week provided many opportunities for learners to engage in new and less familiar environments, helping to build confidence, curiosity and communication. It was a fantastic experience filled with creativity, enjoyment and shared learning.
