This week in Cedar class.....

Cedar had a great visit to Par track this week for Bikeability. Everyone had great fun riding all of the different cycles around the track and practicing our balance, healthy living and social skills.

 

This week in Maple class.....

Maple Class enjoyed a visit from Katrina and Kelly from Noah’s Ark Dentist. 

We learnt about the importance of cleaning our teeth and going to the dentist. Katrina and Kelly brought in teddies and fake teeth for us to practice our brushing technique which we all really enjoyed. After this we talked about which foods are good or bad for our teeth, and we even got to dress up as a dentist! 

Noah's Ark also left us some goodies each!

Maple class learnt so much and engaged superbly, well done, and thank you Noah's Ark!

This week in Cherry class.....

This week, we have been exploring light and dark in Science. We drew around our shadows and compared them later in the day. They had moved around and had got shorter! We have been looking at day and night time activities and sequencing them and created some posters for Sports Day on the laptops in our ICT lessons. Our friend celebrated his birthday in half term, and we baked him a delicious chocolate cake and had a little party for him. This term we are designing and making different types of sandwiches which helps us to learn about independent living, healthy foods and work related learning opportunities.
