This week in the Exploration Pathway.....

This week in Holly class.....
Holly Class have had a fantastic week enjoying the magic carpet, exploring a fully immersive and interactive experience alongside their peers. The children loved taking part in some amazing, intensive interactions that encouraged curiosity and confidence. We have also been busy with lots of number work, with some children matching quantities to numbers and others exploring early pre-subtraction skills through practical, hands-on activities.

This week in Willow class.....
Willow class have enjoyed continuing to explore the printing skill in their creative and expressive arts session, this week they looked at negative printing where they used sticks to make printing marks in paint that has been put on some paper. They all worked well together and took it in turns to share the paint and the sticks.

This week in Sycamore class.....
Sycamore have been exploring a variety of texts through individual guided reading, sensory stories and story massages. Learners enjoy exploring the pictures and listening to the adults read in silly voices!

This week in Elm class.....
Elm have been looking at the weather in relation to holiday destinations and packing a suitcase. We have been testing out materials in science to see what might keep us dry and settled on the trusty umbrella. Everyone enjoyed spraying water on the teachers during their investigation.
