This week in the Exploration Pathway.....

This week in Holly class.....

Holly Class have been enjoying exploring our sensory story Walking Through the Rainforest. They have had the chance to investigate a range of resources, materials, and sensory media linked to the sights and sounds of the rainforest. The children have shown wonderful engagement throughout, joining in alongside their peers with lots of laughter, smiles, and shared excitement as they discovered each new part of the story.

This week in Willow class.....

In Willow class we have been trying to take advantage of the nicer weather by going outside more. We have been exploring capacity and pouring activities outside using different containers and water. The learners were able to select the container that they wanted to use and then have a go at pouring, the adults supported by also introducing some key vocabulary of full and empty. The learners showed lots of engagement exploring the different containers and filling them up with water and emptying them in different ways.

This week in Elm class.....

Elm class visited Bodmin library on Monday. We were so pleased to be joined by one of our parents who came to help. We had our packed lunch in the beautiful atrium cafe and lots of people came to say hello. We practised appropriate greetings and asking for help. We went to the library and met Elaine the librarian . We read books, used the craft table and took out some books using Jo's library card. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to our weekly library trips in St Austell this term.
