This week in Willow class...

Willow class have enjoyed using a parachute to explore positional language. We have been exploring the terms up, down, on and under. The learners have enjoyed exploring these different positions going under the parachute, throwing items on the parachute, and watching it go up and working as a team to move the parachute. The learners used shredded paper on the parachute and watched it make a mess they then developed their independence skills to clean up the messy using a vacuum cleaner, a brush, and a dustpan and brush.  

This week in Sycamore class...

We have been exploring the seaside with our sensory story 'The Blue Abyss'. Learners enjoyed exploring the slimy seaweed and the sea creatures!

 

This week in Holly class...

In Holly Class, learners have been focusing on developing their number skills. They have been working hard at matching quantities to numbers using a range of different representations, helping to build their understanding of early maths concepts. Alongside this, the learners have also been developing their colour recognition skills by matching and identifying a variety of colours.
