This week in the Explore Pathway...

This week in Elm class...

Elm class have been exploring the theme of Eating Out this Term. We have met chefs, baristas and waiters and had a go at some of these jobs ourselves. We all really enjoyed going out for a drink with our friends at Par Track Cafe after a nice long walk around the park. Everybody worked on making choices, communicating our orders and paying for products with cash.

This week in Willow class...

Willow Class have been developing their skills un using tools for different purposes. Recently, pupils have been combining ingredients and practising food preparation techniques to make their own healthy energy bars.

This week in Sycamore class...

In our Investigating the World sessions, Sycamore Class have been learning about making choices. Learners created their own pizzas, choosing their base and toppings before eagerly watching them cook and enjoying the finished result! 🍕

This week in Holly class...

Holly Class enjoyed a range of exciting sensory learning experiences! We explored making marks and patterns using paint, feathers and spray bottles, and investigated farm animals and their sounds through our sensory tray, sound buttons and matching activities. We developed our early maths skills through continuous provision, explored colours through mixing and splattering paint, and practised using tools independently. We also worked on turn-taking, sharing resources and playing alongside our friends through community-building activities. In art, we explored winter-inspired sensory materials, including cotton wool, white paint and glitter, to create our own snowy pictures. We had lots of opportunities to explore, communicate and learn through our senses!
