OAK

The Oak class

The Oak class is one of our EYFS classes and contains learners up to year 1. The learners in this class mainly follow the Ready to Learn pathway.

This class is the first in our lower school.

This week in the Oak class...............

Oak class have been exploring making their own patterns using different shapes during maths continuous provision.  During phonics, we worked on matching letters to CVC words while sounding them out and blending them together. We had loads of fun painting our ice cream art, using and mixing different colour together. 

 

 

 

We also explored matching quantities to numerals during maths. We made our own number train by adding blocks to complete each part. We showed some great counting skills, independently counting 1-5 as we matched the correct amount of blocks to each number.
