Holly class.....

In Holly class we have been exploring colours and sorting objects by colour. 

We have been using UV shapes in the sensory room, sensory colour mats in the classroom and colour sorting teaching tray activities for the learners to complete independently or with adult support. 

 

Elm Class

Elm class are working on their party planning topic and this week we had our first impromptu party, we voted on what we needed, enjoyed each other's company and helped to tidy up. Using core boards and total communication, learners chose music, lights, created smoothies and danced together. We explored balloons, pineapples and streamers. We are all looking forward to our big disco in the hall coming soon and working hard on decorations.

Willow class.....

In Willow class we have enjoyed exploring different items of clothing and artefacts that can link into different occasions. The learners explored different occasions and what you might wear for them this including playing sports, doing for a party and going on a walk. The learners enjoyed exploring the different  textures of the materials. 

Sycamore class.....

In the Sycamore team we have been practicing our data handling skills through sorting activities.

We have sorted things by colour, shape and size.
