This week in EYFS.....

This week in Juniper Class.....

A group of EYFS learners went to Par Race Track to enjoy a Bikeability session.

We also used this as a discussion point to talk about staying safe around fires, after the recent fire that had happened at the running track.

Learners tried different trikes and bikes, requesting to go quicker and telling an adult when to stop, applying one of our recently taught core words!

Learners have also been subitising numbers to 5 and creating groups of Numicon tiles to create quantities to match numerals. We have been using a single finger to point to check our totals.

This week in Oak class.....

Oak class have been working on their mark making skills using bingo dabbers. They were supported by an adult to increase control and trace horizontal and vertical lines. Learners were encouraged to attempt tracing independently.

This week in Hazel class.....

In Hazel class, we incorporated all things Autumn and Holloween into our maths lessons this week.  Counting how many pumpkins, bats, cats and hats were on our worksheets.  It was a fun way to showcase our counting skills!
