This week in Redwood class.....

Redwood class have been enjoying their outdoor space and making the most of the drier days. We participated in a collective soundbath and explored instruments, how they feel and how they sound. We worked on our cause and effect skills and communicating our preferences through vocalising and gestures. Using these skills help us to contribute to the world around us.

 

This week in Apple class.....

Apple Class went outside for a Sensory Walk for Mental Health Awareness Day. We loved spending time in nature smelling Rosemary and Lavender, exploring the sounds and colours of nature and the tastes of the grapes and apples we found growing. 

 

This week in Rowan class.....

In class this week we have been continuing to explore resources in our most accessible way, and getting stuck into colour, communicating our preferences towards colours which we would like to use to create our own above and beyond planets to decorate our classroom with! We have also started our new baking project of Earth cookies to co with our above and beyond theme, exploring both familiar and unfamiliar ingredients and textures throughout.
