This week in Juniper class.....

During core word sessions, learners have been putting what they have been applying their newly acquired words. We have been dressing up to practise taking something off and putting something on, as well as practising writing the words on the interactive games. Learners have also been applying counting skills to put the correct number of candles on the cake. We realise there's a few different variations of 'on' and 'off' so look forward to exploring some other motivating sensory toys we need to turn on or off.

This week in Oak class.....

Learners in Oak class accessed outdoor learning at the forest school this week. As a class we explored taking care of our environment, exploring capacity through filling and empty different containers and transitioning to areas further from our classroom. 

This week in Hazel class.....

The EYFS topic this half term is weather. We trialled RISE for a weather lesson last week. We created different weather sounds and feelings. For example, using rice on a drum to make a rain sound. The students were able to participate as much or a little as they wanted to.
