This week in Willow class.....

In Willow class we have been exploring different forces. The learners have participated through practical exploration, looking at different items that float and sink, and then looking at pushing those items in water to see how they respond to physical manipulation. Some of the learners have been making guesses, to see if they think the item will float or sink before observing if they were correct. The learners have also been using core boards to communicate their choices and ideas.

This week in Holly class.....

Holly Class have been thoroughly enjoying their new topic, People Who Help Us. The children have been exploring photos of the adults and peers who support them in school, recognising the many ways we help one another every day. They have also loved caring for teddy bears using real bandages, learning how doctors and nurses look after people and keep them safe. Through a range of role‑play and dress‑up activities, the class have stepped  into the shoes of firefighters, police officers, and medical staff, using imagination and teamwork to explore these important community roles.
