This week in Oak class.....

Oak class enjoyed exploring the core word 'it' through a shared experience of making fizzy potions. We used phrases such as 'put it in' 'watch it fizz' and ' mix it together'. Learners enjoyed watching, exploring, mixing and pouring the fizzy potions! 

This week in Juniper class.....

In Juniper, we have been exploring capacity and using key vocabulary when emptying and filling. We have been using pipettes and different sized containers to explore empty, full, nearly empty and nearly full. Learners have been sharing the resources up to 30 minutes, with others going off to explore emptying and filling in different stimuli. 

This week in Hazel class.....

Hazel class have been learning about the seaside. This is our 'understanding our world' topic this half term. They have been digging shells and sea animal figures out of the sand pit! We have been having pretend picnics 'at the beach' and have been enjoying the sun and sand in our outdoor spaces.
