This week in EYFS.....

This week in Juniper class.....

Learners have been attending to environmental sounds under the sea and using core boards or Makaton to discriminate the sounds. We have been applying cutting skills with scissors to cut our pictures from 'A Sailor Went to Sea'

This week in Oak class.....

In Oak class, learners have worked hard on recognising, writing, and saying their own names. Learners have been supported to practise pencil grip, letter formations and recognising their names through 1:1 activities.

This week in Hazel class...

In Hazel Class, we have been focusing on developing both our fine and gross motor skills. As part of learning important life skills, the children have been practising using knives safely to chop softer materials such as play dough, helping to build hand strength, coordination, and control.

We have also been making the most of the recent good weather by taking our learning outdoors. The children have enjoyed practising their running skills, developing greater control, balance, and spatial awareness as they navigate around cones and follow different directions.

It has been wonderful to see their confidence and coordination continue to grow through these activities.
