The Cedar class

The Cedar class is one of our Key stage 1 & 2 classes. The learners here mostly follow our Discovery pathway. It is part of our lower school.

This week in the Cedar class......

We had a great time during yoga, practicing our stretching and moving along different obstacles.

In Maths we are counting up in 2's. Nikki bought in lots of socks for us to pair up to help us with counting and recognising items that are the same. Of course, we also were able to identify the one odd sock, that doesn't have it's pair! 

 

We have been enjoying a fun Yoga session in Cedar, learning about being healthy, working as a team,  focus on our own independence and mental wellbeing.

 

Cedar class have been learning about colour and colour words through the book A Colour Of His Own by Leo Lionni. We have also been working on our independence skills, getting our own lunchboxes and organising our own resources. In maths we have been adding within 10, 20 and 50.
