This week in the Cedar class.....

Cedar class had great fun exploring instruments this week. Everyone enjoyed having a go playing the violin, flute and saxophone.   We celebrated Arts week in style, learning all about the different sounds and tones that different instruments make.

 

This week in the Cherry Class.....

We had a lovely week experimenting with paper, paint and pencils to recreate the sea during Arts Week. We also really enjoyed the drumming workshop and listening to the saxophone with all the other post-14 learners. On Tuesday, the Beach Guardians came to show us all sorts of items that can be found on beach cleans around Cornwall. We also walked down to the Co-op on Friday to practise our Independent Living Skills and follow shopping lists. Everyone worked hard to keep safe on the walk down and crossing the road, and enjoyed buying their own Friday treats!

 

This week in the Maple class.....

As part of our independence lessons, Maple Class have been making our own pizzas! We spread tomato purée, added cheese and chose any toppings we wanted on top! Everyone engaged superbly, enjoying making their own pizza themselves and seeing the end result. Once they had been cooked, we even got to eat them - which we all agreed was the best part!
