This week in the Engagement Pathway.....
This week in Redwood class.....
In Redwood Class, as part of the Upper School, we are always looking for ways to develop our independent learning skills and prepare ourselves for adulthood and life beyond school. Last week, we focused on an essential part of daily living: housekeeping.
We explored the sights, sounds, and smells of a working laundry room — from the warmth of the dryer to the fresh scent of clean clothes. We actively took part in helping with the washing, sorting, and folding once items were dry. These activities do more than build practical knowledge; they help us to better understand the world around us while also supporting the development of fine and gross motor skills, including strength and dexterity.
This week in Apple Class.....
Last week we enjoyed all the sensory fun and sporting activities in our annual sports day. The water play was our favourite activity, especially getting our class team members and families wet!
This week in Rowan class.....
Rowan class had great fun taking part in Sports day last week! We have been working hard on all of our Mobility, Kicking, Striking and dexterity across the year and it was great fun to showcase these skills throughout the morning.
