During our last Student Council meeting before the summer holidays,  a member of our Pupil Voice team shared that she would really like an author to come and visit our school to read some stories. She independently wrote a letter to her favourite author David Walliams. Although unable to come to our school in person, he did write back and provided her with her VERY OWN signed copy of one of his books with a photo and ANOTHER signed copy of a book and photo for our school library for the whole school to enjoy.  What a response!  All that patient waiting for a reply to her letter has paid off.  Head teacher Heidi and Student Council lead Michelle presented the books in a special ceremony in the library.
