Interoception Curriculum in Maple

This week Maple class had a great first session on the interoception curriculum.

Each session the learners will focus on a part of the body to work on the "ability to notice body signals" to then be able to connect the body signal to an emotion.

Our first session was Hands. We carried out various activities to alter the body signals to the hands. The learners then picked a picture to describe what their hands felt like "hot, cold, clean, dirty, wiggly, fast, slow etc". Maple class were great at identifying how their hands felt, and they enjoyed the practical aspect of the experiments.
