Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award!

Post 14 teams embarked on their 2-day Duke of Edinburgh expedition in July - something they'd been training for all term. The team undertook the mini adventure with a focus on photography and litter picking, successfully navigating around the school grounds ending up at the neighbouring cricket ground. The participants cooked for themselves, making smores, popcorn, beans and sausages, hot dogs and chocolate bananas.  It wasn't all hard work, Cherry class ended their adventure with an exciting, rainy game of cricket - thank goodness they packed their waterproofs!

After all their hard work and dedication over the last 6 months Cherry Class will be graduating with a Full Bronze DofE Award and certificates in Physical endeavour, Volunteering and an Individual Skill. Well done post 14 teams!
